The Home for Healing, formerly the Family Home of Little Rock, is run by the board of Parents and Friends of Children and Adults, Inc. The Home is staffed by our House Manager, Ronnie Fehrenbach who oversees all daily operations. Our executive director is Kristin Trulock! The home is a spacious 13,500 square foot house with two guest wings: one has a kitchen, laundry, and five bedrooms and baths for parents who have babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and the other has two kitchens, laundry and 10 bedrooms and baths for patients receiving cancer treatment and their caregivers. In addition to an office, conference room, meditation area, and manager’s apartment, the home also includes the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute Auxiliary Cancer Support Center comprised of a library and activities room, kitchen, covered porch and great room where functions for cancer patients are held.

Kristin Trulock
Executive Director
Kristin Trulock has more than 10 years of fundraising experience for Arkansas, where she has started many programs, walks, portfolios and donors. She is responsible for helping raise over 2.5 million dollars for the state of Arkansas. In the past years, she has brought new walks to cities all over the country including Nashville, Louisville, Charleston, Baton Rouge and more. She prides herself in helping connect grant recipients, sponsors and communities together.
She has a direct passion for the Home for Healing mission. While helping her aunt caretake for her cousin-in-law while battling Metastatic Breast Cancer, she watched her fight an amazing fight with grace and a positive attitude. She, and other family members diagnosed with cancer were a main factor in why Kristin decided to change her career to the Home for Healing after the Arkansas Affiliate of Susan G Komen closed its doors.
Kristin’s past experiences and deep-rooted connections in Arkansas make this a perfect match in helping change the future for the patients of the Home. She is passionate about her work and takes it as a personal mission to make a difference in all that she can. She is widely regarded in her abilities to bring funds for a cause near and dear to her heart and she has served in many roles throughout other non-profits in the development role.
